To support supply chain integrity, construction of a new refinery began in Johor, Malaysia in 2025. The project brings together JPG’s strengths in location, raw material access, and large-scale facilities with Fuji Oil’s refining expertise and strict quality standards. The site also benefits from its proximity to existing Fuji Oil operations in Johor and Singapore.
The refinery will enable the production of high-quality oils and fats, with a strong focus on sustainability and traceability. The integrated palm oil mill and kernel crushing facility operates on renewable energy, supporting responsible production at scale.
Europe will be the initial focus market, reflecting increasing regulatory and customer expectations around sustainable sourcing and production. Over time, supply will expand to other regions to meet growing global demand for responsibly produced ingredients.
